Like you, we’re monitoring the developments of COVID-19 in San Diego County and doing everything we can to be cautious and responsible. The safety of our customers and team members is our top priority.
Each vehicle is stocked with hand sanitizer and our team is utilizing it before and after each stop. Additionally, we’ve outfitted our team members with disinfectant wipes, and they will be wiping down gates, doors, and other contacted surfaces as they are entering and leaving your property. Our team members are familiar with the basics of “social distancing” as we typically have one team member per vehicle and will commit to that practice for the time being. At this time, for our team member’s health and yours, we’ll also be taking it a step further and keeping the CDC’s advised six feet of distance when conversing with our customers.
Regarding your pool or spa, the CDC put out guidance that “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.” GL Pools always follows the leading practice of maintaining free chlorine in swimming pools above 2.0 PPM and spas above 3.0 PPM.
